1955年長崎県生まれ。久留米育ち。九州大学理学部数学科卒。博士課程２年より研究テーマを代数的整数論から折り紙の幾何学に変更。1997年折り鶴変形理論で博士号を取得。現在佐世保工業高等専門学校基礎専門科目助教授。日本折紙学会評議員。

Kawasaki Toshikazu was born in Nagasaki, Japan, in 1955. He got a doctorate in mathematics with his work on the "Deformation Theory of the Bird Base".He is an assistant professor of the Sasebo College of Technology. He is a member of the board of directors of JOAS.
