1951年新潟県生まれ。1973年千葉大学園芸学部卒業。ユニット折り紙の先駆者の一人として高い評価を受けている。著書多数。国内外を問わずファンは多く、英語、ドイツ語、韓国語など翻訳された著書も多い。海外の折り紙作家との交流にも熱心である。日本折紙学会評議員。

Fuse Tomoko was born in Niigata, Japan, in 1951. She is one of the pioneers of Unit Origami. She wrote more than 50 books of origami. Some books were translated into English, German, Korean, and so on. She has many friends among origami artists all over the world. She is a member of the board of directors of JOAS
